Yes, we currently limit the number of calls you can make in a single day. Depending on the destination phone number, sometimes we also limit how long you can call for. If you are wondering why, know that every single call that we connect costs us. There is a cost associated with connecting phone calls to numbers or endpoints that are not owner by CitrusTel. For example, if you call a Vodafone number, we pay Vodafone to connect the call and the cost is based on carriers as well the countries. We are hopeful that over time, the cost will reduce to a point where we will be able to offer unlimited phone calls.
Can I download your app to make free internet calls?
CitrusTel is built using WebRTC technology that enables it to offer real time communication within a browser. We do not offer an iOS or Android app at this point in time.
